Walking All Over Us: The Power of Floor Graphics

We’ve branded everything from overpasses to theme parks to roofs. So why not the floor?

Believe it or not, people looking down on your brand can be a good thing – if it’s a floor graphic done right. This underutilized graphic treatment can provide a sharp promotional tool for your logo or ad while being highly functional: These graphics are perfect for directing traffic at your special event, venue or trade show.

Stairs. Sidewalks. Carpet. Let’s hit the ground running.

You won’t believe where and what kind of surfaces floor graphics can applied to. For example, check out this promotional stair graphic for the SAP Tennis Open. Or this video of a sidewalk graphic installation at Ravinia, a popular Chicago outdoor concert venue.

Since it’s different than your traditional banner, there are some common questions we regularly get about floor graphics that we’re happy to answer too, like these:

The Top 5 Questions About Floor Graphics

Is it permanent?
No, floor graphics can be removed easily – but don’t let that fool you about its adhesiveness to the surface. It installs smoothly and strongly, but when you need to remove it, you’ll find no trace of a gluey residue left behind.

What color limitations do I have?

Virtually none. Since we print digitally and in full color, you’ll have a striking floor decal that accommodates a vast array of inks. Even put a photograph on it.

Can someone slip on it?

We get this misconception surrounding slipping and liability a lot when it comes to floor graphics. But not to worry. Our floor graphics are slip-resistant over laminate, making slips and falls extremely unlikely.

How many different kinds of surfaces can it be applied to?

How many do you have? If it’s a smooth surface, there’s very few places a floor graphic can’t go. We can install them inside, outside, even on carpets!

Is there primarily one set of sizes and shapes?

Just the opposite – we have resources in-house made to create custom contoured shapes around the space you’re dealing with, which makes installations very easy.
