Sometimes, looking good makes you feel great. Ever put on that perfect outfit? You feel almost invincible. Why wouldn’t companies feel the same way about dressing their booths, events or trade shows?
Coming from the exhibit world, our Business Development Manager Kelly Voss knows how important it is for trade shows and events to look amazing. She’s helped drive us forward into the use of fabric structures for this very reason.
“We’re looking at it a little different. If you already have your structure, why not dress it from head to toe with us?” Voss said. “We can provide the full solution, not just a piece or part of it.”
The idea is to provide re-cover graphics or fabric covers for existing aluminum structures, as well as incorporate our current offerings of rigid substrates. One of the more popular uses for dye sub fabric is SEG (Silicone Edge Graphics) where a silicone beading is sewn into the perimeter of the fabric and then inserted into an aluminum extrusion. This solution allows for more economical costs not just in the fabric product but also the installation on show floor.
“SEG allows for an easy install and a great economical look,” Voss said. “It allows us to stretch the fabric and put it into a channel creating a tight fit.”
This cost-effective method of dressing structures allows us to marry many different parts of fabric structures together and create something that looks fantastic for our clients.
Fabric restructures also saves the client money, as the graphics we create can be easily shipped, washed and reused. For organizations that do multiple shows per year, this can be absolutely invaluable.
