Season’s Greetings, everyone! At ER2, we donned our holiday best and headed to Joy District in Chicago for our 2016 Christmas celebration. As you can see, everyone cleans up really nice. It’s rather shocking, actually.
Our annual holiday outing is the perfect way to celebrate another great year with our ER2 family. Working hard is part of our corporate culture, but—as those who know us can attest—we bring that same enthusiasm when it’s time to have fun. The party began as soon as we all boarded the bus that whisked us downtown. Big laughs and stories (plus a few good-natured honks from motorists) highlighted the trip.
When we arrived downtown, the restaurant was festively decorated (with help from some ER2 images, of course). After sampling the variety of cocktails, we sat down to a magnificent dinner showcasing the restaurant’s reputation for classic dishes with innovative twists.
After dinner, it was time to hit the dance floor with live music provided by Phil Seed Trio (once the house band for Bernie Mac’s Comedy Tour). Naturally, the evening wouldn’t be complete without a visit from Santa. We’re proud to report that no one was given coal this year.
As the clock struck midnight, we boarded trolleys waiting to safely transport us to downtown hotels for the night. All in all, it was a wonderful evening, a fantastic way to celebrate another great year, and a grand way to kick off the holiday season.
