Both shaped by where we’ve been.
After careful research of every possible business to own, from Cinnabon to children’s apparel, Gary Sr. sees a great deal of opportunity in the signage shop category. That business, Bloomingdale Signs by Tomorrow, begins in the northwest suburbs of Chicago as a true family operation with his wife Carla, daughter Rachelle and sons Gary Jr., Mark and Alan.
Easily the most massive project ever completed for the company, wrapping an entire building and popular intersection at downtown Chicago’s State and Adams streets. Over 76,000 square feet of adhesive vinyl and vinyl scrim are applied, gaining the attention of nationwide media.
By now, the business is not only a sign shop for local businesses but a company that generates everything from ideation to installation for national brands. Leaving the franchise world behind, the company rebrands as ER2 Image Group.
With explosive growth, ER2 Image Group moves to a much larger space. The company now has 55 employees, three facilities and eight grand format devices.
Headed by Jason Dillas, our new environment graphics division makes its mark on a wide range of spaces, working with renowned global architecture and design firms through design and installation to transform offices, iconic buildings, event spaces and more.
For its work on the LinkedIn Omaha office, Big Picture Magazine awards ER2 Image Group and its Applied Surfaces division for the third consecutive year, a tremendous industry achievement.
Celebrate good times
We know how to celebrate as a team too. When a newborn arrives, a long-time employee retires or the anniversary of someone’s tenure at ER2 is here, we feel that joy across this wonderful community we’ve built. And when we win new accounts or have recently completed a stellar piece of work, we champion the skills of those who helped make it happen.
