ER2 Image Group: Where Artists’ Visions Come To Life

Artists have big ideas. So big, in fact, that they can sometimes seem impossible to execute. At ER2, those are some of our favorite projects.

We jump at the chance to collaborate with artists. We know every detail matters, and we don’t stop until the piece is perfectly realized.

Here are a few examples of the work we’ve done with some amazingly talented artists. We encourage you to click each story below and watch the full videos of their grand visions being brought to life.

Summer, 2012: Color Jam

Back when ER2 was called Signs by Tomorrow, Jessica Stockholder had a vision to take State Street in Chicago and explode it with vibrant color. 70,000 square feet of vinyl later, our installation of Jessica’s work introduced Color Jam to the city. It was the biggest public art installation in the history of Chicago.

Fall, 2013: Butterflies & Buffalo

Dennis Manarchy came to us looking for the largest printer in the world that printed at the highest resolution in the world. No problem. Using a latex technology developed by HP, ER2 helped Dennis adorn Union Station in Chicago with images from Butterflies & Buffalo, A Tale of American Culture.

Summer, 2013: Chicago History Museum

CHM is located in the heart of the city, and it has a ton of foot and car traffic. But many people would walk by not knowing exactly what the museum contained. That changed when ER2 helped them install a massive window display that introduced a wonderful new exhibit.

Summer, 2014: David Best’s Black | White | Bold

David Best partnered with ER2 to turn his vision into a 35,000 square foot, black and white collage. The result was simply jaw-dropping.

If you’re an artist with a grand vision, know that ER2 is dedicated to producing a display that’s everything you imagined it would be. If you have the art, we can supply the canvas. Talk with us today.
