Our old friends at EFI™just delivered our brand new VUTEk®h3series next generation 3.2-meter hybrid printing platform. That’s quite a mouthful, but it’s really quite a machine. EFI told us it’s been reimagined, reinvented, reengineered and refined. How could we resist a pitch like that?
Actually, we are pleased to be one of the first companies in the US to implement this brand new EFI technology. Specifically designed for the high-speed, wide-format inkjet printing market, the VUTEk h3delivers unmatched reliability and quality. Those are two of our favorite things! It’s also environmentally friendly, which we all can appreciate. By the way, the little 3 means our model has 3 rows of print heads for a speed of up to 74 boards per hour at 1200 dpi.
Here’s some really exciting news. Our latest tech upgrade has 8 color modes plus white, and up to 5-layer print capability in a single pass. Layers add texture and wide-format textures really make your graphics stand out in a crowd!

The VUTEk h3is full of features for maximum accuracy because quality comes from laying down the ink in the right place every time. The features include: high-velocity UltraDrop™ Technology 7pL grayscale printheads (more about that later) that deliver precision dot placement and consistency from print to print at high production speeds; magnetic linear drive control and step mechanics and electronics; and a camera-based vision system for subpixel alignment, printhead density balance, and step and bi-directional set up.

EFI’s UltraDrop™ Technology offers smaller drop sizes and more precise control. The results are ultra impressive:
