Our cooking is more in the “nuke it in the microwave” realm.
So how did we rub elbows with Chicago’s finest chefs?
Only one thing could explain it – the Illinois Restaurant Association wanted our help in promoting its Chicago Gourmet festival through some striking outdoor signage.
This fantastic event held in September showcases more than 100 of Chicago’s finest restaurants and chefs, not to mention vintners, spirit makers and breweries from around the world.
As you might imagine, putting on an outdoor festival in downtown’s Millennium Park over three days is no small affair (see for yourself by watching this video). And the Illinois Restaurant Association had plenty on its signage list too.
- Banners to display event sponsors
- Logo towers
- Stage banners
- Food carts wrapped with specific branding
- Large directional maps and event schedule signage
- Banners to promote photo opportunities with event speakers
In other words, we’re talking a great deal more than a tabletop here and there.
Fortunately, ER2 Image Group (Formerly Bloomingdale Signs by Tomorrow) was more than ready for the project. Our installers arrived the Friday before the event, assembling and installing all the necessary hardware for displaying the signage at Millennium Park.
Working closely with event organizers at Jam Entertainment (who also happens to be a client of ours), we’re proud to say Chicago Gourmet ran exceptionally smooth from start to finish.
Of course, we know how to make an indoor event shine too.
Whether it’s a trade show, holiday party, conference or other type of high profile event that demands a variety of signage, talk to the people who have been there before and done that. Call Gary Schellerer at 630.893.4450 or IM “garycschellerer.”
