Don’t Forget To Pack Some Hope This Season

In the season of giving, ER2 Image Group (Formerly Bloomingdale Signs by Tomorrow) was fortunate to discover just the kind of charity that we not only believe in wholeheartedly but that we’ve also been able to lend a hand to with our own products.

We were shocked to recently learn that there are 2000 homeless children in our local school district alone. Around the same time, our friends at Arlington Heights Ford happened to introduce us to a non-profit called Backpacks 4 Class.

Backpacks 4 Class has a simple objective: Supply school supplies to children in need. By placing drop boxes around the community and partnering with area businesses and chambers, Backpacks 4 Class collects those essential backpacks and school supplies for children.

As Arlington Heights Ford held an important function to support the charity (and gave away a 2013 Ford Fusion!), we made sure to do our part as well, providing signs and banners for the event. But we didn’t stop there. We created fluted cardboard drop boxes for a variety of businesses participating in Backpacks 4 Class. People could even view what kind of school supplies the charity was looking for, as we printed these items digitally right on the box. Special cuts and creases for the drop boxes were provided from one of our latest equipment investments, the Zund G3 cutter.

We’re excited to be a part of this terrific cause benefitting disadvantaged school children and we’ll be proud to help Backpacks 4 Class for the 2013-2014 school year. In fact, after impacting schools in the Chicagoland and St. Louis area, Backpacks 4 Class is looking to expand to other cities around the country next year.

If your business is interested in donating or becoming a drop off point for Backpacks 4 Class, there’s no better time to get involved. Call Fernando Vega at 312.576.5012 or visit www.backpacks4class.org.
