Sign of a Good Time II: Wrapping The Bud Light Hotel in Vail

hotel

As we shared earlier this year, our crew was heavily involved in entirely transforming a hotel in New Orleans into a conceptual Bud Light fan experience during the Super Bowl. Who knew we’d be asked to wrap a resort in Vail, Colorado only a few months later?

This time, The Lodge at Vail resort needed to be converted into a Bud Light Hotel, with many different aspects to the installation.

Simply put, you can’t re-create a totally immersive brand experience with just a few elements that have the company logo on them. You have to, well, “Go big or go home.” Going big is our specialty, of course.

Yet, even though we’d had some practice with our New Orleans experience, the Vail hotel wrap was no less challenging. For instance, while this is the type of project that’s typically done in a 3-day timeframe, we had to compress our schedule to 2 days. And wWhen it came to installing window graphics, we were working with a material that was different than the standard variety that lays on flat surfaces.

We covered door frames and archways, created small placard signage and utilized die-cut lettering to make Bud Light’s messaging stand out all the more. All of these components add up to an environment designed to make the guest not only happy they’re checking in – But if we’ve done our job well, they’re saying, “Oh, wow. Here we go.”

That’s the “sure sign of a good time” to us – and an unforgettable partnership.
